What this site stores

• For hosts: your name, email address, optional US mobile number, a hashed password, and the events you create.
• For guests: whatever the host adds — usually a name plus an email address or mobile number — along with your reply, party size and answers to the host's questions.
• Activity: when an invitation was sent, when it was first opened, and when someone replied. Hosts see this so they know who to follow up with.

What it is used for

Only for running the event you were invited to: delivering the invitation, collecting your reply, sending reminders and updates from your host, and letting the host plan. Nothing is sold, rented or used to target advertising.

Messages you receive

Every email carries an unsubscribe link that stops messages about that event, or about everything on this site. Text messages honour STOP immediately, and START turns them back on.

Photos

Uploaded photos are re-encoded on arrival, which strips camera metadata including GPS coordinates before the file is stored.

Deleting things

Hosts can delete an event, which removes its guest list, replies, photos and messages. Deleting your account removes every event you host along with it. Both are immediate and permanent.

Who runs this site

This is a self-hosted installation, so the operator is whoever runs this domain — not the authors of the software. Questions about your data should go to them.
