Why there is no paywall
Sending an invitation is not a premium activity. It is how people see each other.
Most invitation sites give you the pretty part for free and then charge when you actually need it — when the guest list gets long, when you want to text people, when you want to know who is coming without ads sitting on top of your daughter's birthday invitation.
This one does not do that. Every design, every guest, every text message, every custom question, the potluck list, the polls, the registry, the photo album, the check-in screen — all of it, always, for nothing.
It can work that way because this is software you host yourself. There is no venture funding to pay back and no sales team to feed. The only costs are your hosting plan and, if you turn on text messaging, whatever your SMS provider charges per message.
No ads on your invitation
Your guests see your event. Nothing else.
Your guest list stays yours
It is never sold, rented or used to advertise anything, and you can export or delete it whenever you like.
Self-hosted
Runs on ordinary PHP and MySQL — the same shared hosting plan that runs a WordPress blog.
No upsells, ever
There is no "upgrade" button anywhere in this app, because there is nothing to upgrade to.
